I didn’t catch this one here. It might have been on Setanta, which I don’t have yet, but it wasn’t on FSC, which sucks. But, I heard Robin Van Persie made one hell of a shot for his second goal. Can’t wait for the highlight reels tonight. I think we’re up to 7th place, depending on what happens tomorrow. I think a Reading win could knock us down a notch, among other scenarios. But, a W is a W, so keep ‘em coming boys. Nice work, Gunners!

I wasn’t able to catch this one, but just got the news that Arsenal beat Porto 2-0 with another header from Thierry and a far post shot by Hleb that was passed up by Gallas. Way to go Gunners! That’s 6 points in Group G now, 2 ahead of Moscow with 4 games remaining in the Group Stage. It’s looking good! I just hope the boys are well rested for Charlton this Saturday.

Why do they make me wait 64 minutes to let out my breath? I was a little disappointed that The Blades didn’t make more of a game of it, although their defense did keep the ball out of the net for the first 64. Then it all caved in with William Gallas’ first goal for the team, and a pair from good ol’ #14. Although his first seemed to be an own goal off a Sheffield defender. Whatever, we’ll take it! Time for som CL action with FC Porto! I’ll have to break out my 20-year old Six Grapes for this one.

I don’t want to sound cocky after the win over Man U., but I have a feeling that Sheffield’s season is not going to improve after this Saturday. We’ll see… the Blades have actually looked pretty good this year despite their record. It could be a great game. Let’s just hope Arsenal show up like they did Sunday.
One of these days I’m going to make a trip over to Emirates and see my fellows play up close. Although I hear tickets are hard to come by, huh?

What a game!! I was out of my seat for the last 20 minutes of it. Despite a 0-0 score up until the 85th minute, this game was simply amazing to watch. Both keepers were amazing and the sides just kept battling back & forth the whole time. Although in the end, my Gunners came up big in the form of Emmanuel Adebayors beautiful goal less than 5 minutes from time. The whole side played strong throughout, in particular Cesc Fabregas. Go Gunners!!
