4th in the table now
So, depending on what Bolton do to the Magpies at St. James Park tomorrow, we’re either 4th or (most likely) 5th in the table, after 7 games (which I’ll update Monday morning). I know it’s too soon to start talking about position with 31 games to go, but I like the quick move back to the top, after being as low as 17th. Hopefully we’ll be up and stay there.
Update: Well, as I thought… Bolton crapped on our parade and bumped us down to 5th. No bother, it shouldn’t be long before that’s rectified. If the right scenario plays out next week, we could be looking at 3rd in the table.
There’s 20 seconds left in added time as I write this, and it looks like The Gunners will finish this one up with three beautiful goals from Toure, Henry & Adebayor. I don’t think anyone expected the Hornets to take this one at Emirates, but it’s nice to see the boys finish so nicely, despite several injured players from International play. Theo put in 60 as well, which the crowd seemed to really enjoy. Another three points and up the table we go!
