Arsenal 3-1 Fulham
After the first 10 minutes of the match, I was expecting a 5-0 drubbing. But then we kept missing opportunities, mostly due to some impressive keeping from Antti Niemi, and Fulham just kept hanging in there. When they equalized at 78′, I started getting worried. But all for naught. The Gunners got it together and put the Craven Cottage fellows away with two late goals from Adebayor and a PK put in by Gilberto after a foul on Hleb.
Speaking of which… you have to love Alexander Hleb. The guy is just everywhere. He seems to have a great ability to get the ball up the side and across, creating opportunities. And he does it tirelessly. Looking forward to seeing more from him.
